So, you want to know a little about me. I am a mother of 3 children. My oldest daughter is 14, my son is 8 and my youngest daughter was just born this past April 2006. I am married to a wonderful man. I am very lucky to have him. We met in 1997 and we married in 1999. We just celebrated our anniversary. My oldest daughters’ biological father passed away when she was 3 so her step-father is really all she knows.

I have a 25 year old brother whom is autistic. I have 2 wonderful parents that have been married for over 30 years. I hope that me and my husband are together for that long and even longer. Most couples don’t last that long in marriage. I wish they were closer to us. We are 500 miles away from them.

My job title: is first and foremost a MOM! I work outside the home full time as a Lab Technician for an eyewer optical company. In other words, I manufacture glasses. I have been in the optical industry for 10 years and I love what I do. If you have questions about eyewear please ask!

The reason I wanted to start a parenting blog is because I am a parent and would love to meet other parents and discuss all sorts of parenting topics. I know there are tons of other websites, blogs, and message boards pertaining to the same exact topic.
