Summer time will be here before we know it and that means parents will be scrambling for ways to occupy their time. Looking ahead now will increase the likelihood of getting into some popular activities.
I recommend doing a search on “summer camp ides for kids” and add your city and state to see what’s going on around your area. Asking friends if they’d like to join you in your quest to find something entertaining and educational for summer camp ideas for kids.
In fact, I know that when my kids are at a camp with people they know, it makes the experience a little less stressful and more memorable.
But even if you can’t make it to an actual camp, there are plenty of ways to entertain kids at home with all sorts of activities. One website I like to go to to get ideas is Family Fun. It’s a Disney site, so you know they’ll have family experience behind every idea you find there.

Just a random thought I had on my mind today as it has been a few weeks since I last took any pictures of my kids. Always make it a priority to take pictures of your children. They grow up so quickly, next thing you know, they’ll be out of the house.
With digital cameras being so easy and so cheap, there really is not excuse not to take pictures of your kids. The only reason there could be is that you might not be motivated to do so. It can be kind of tricky to get your kids to pose, but even natural pictures of them doing their daily things is fine too.
After reading this post, take a comment to blow the dust off your camera and snap a few shots. You’ll thank me for it in the years to come.

Potty training girls is easier than training boys. The evidence that supports this thinking is that mothers are usually the potty trainers so since they have the same equipment, little girls may catch on quicker. The important thing to remember, regardless of who is doing the teaching, is that girls should wipe from front to back. This helps reduce the chances of infection from bacteria. When potty training girls it may be that the girl wants to stand up to pee. Some experts agree that it’s all right to let them go ahead and give it a try. They’ll soon find out that they lack the equipment to make it an efficient experience.
