Don’t Forget To Take Pictures of Your Kids

Just a random thought I had on my mind today as it has been a few weeks since I last took any pictures of my kids. Always make it a priority to take pictures of your children. They grow up so quickly, next thing you know, they’ll be out of the house.

With digital cameras being so easy and so cheap, there really is not excuse not to take pictures of your kids. The only reason there could be is that you might not be motivated to do so. It can be kind of tricky to get your kids to pose, but even natural pictures of them doing their daily things is fine too.

After reading this post, take a comment to blow the dust off your camera and snap a few shots. You’ll thank me for it in the years to come.

Potty training girls

Potty training girls is easier than training boys. The evidence that supports this thinking is that mothers are usually the potty trainers so since they have the same equipment, little girls may catch on quicker. The important thing to remember, regardless of who is doing the teaching, is that girls should wipe from front to back. This helps reduce the chances of infection from bacteria. When potty training girls it may be that the girl wants to stand up to pee. Some experts agree that it’s all right to let them go ahead and give it a try. They’ll soon find out that they lack the equipment to make it an efficient experience.

Night Lights For Children

Night lights for children not only help them feel more secure at night, but I can tell you first hand that they also help the parents. I particularly like sleeping in a room that’s completely dark. For safety reasons, I have one in each of our rooms so that when we get up we don’t walk into things. Night lights for children or grownups can also provide the lighting you need to find the room down the hall. So when my kids were younger and got up in the middle of the night, they’d see the light come through my open door and give them some bearing.
